The Norwegian Association for Arts and Crafts (NK) is working to promote and support contemporary crafts nationally and internationally. NK currently holds over 850 professional practicing artists and makers.

NK's main objective is to strengthen the arenas for contemporary crafts and improve the general working conditions for artist and makers. Our strategic areas being: 1) Professional development, 2) Policy making 3) Programmes and education 4) Contemporary crafts development and networks.

Gallery Format

Galleri Format with spaces in both Oslo and Bergen, is owned by NK. The galleries are exhibition and sales venues for works of the finest professional and artistic quality within ceramic, textile, metal, wood and glass.
