My ongoing artistic practice critically examines the layered realities of material, labor, and waste within the context of globalized textile production. I employ a material-driven approach through a combination of printmaking and multimedia installation. Through a research driven artistic process, I engage with themes of invisibilized labor, feminized work, and the labor of care, situating my practice at the intersection of social reflection and transformation. My ongoing projects directly grows from this unique synthesis of labor and artistry. Textile dust, often dismissed as industrial residue, is reimagined as a witness to labor’s invisibility and the relentless pace of hyper-consumerism. What narratives of labor, extraction, and cultural memory are embedded in the material byproducts of globalized production?
