Karin Amdal
Keramikk / Leire
I originally trained as an Art Director at Westerdals School of Communication. Since then, I have worked two- and three-dimensionally before I landed on ceramics as a form of expression in 2017. I bring the AD mindset into ceramics as well as a Master in Design, and work in the intersection between craft and design. In a way, I use clay as modeling material, to test ideas. I play with form and function while my sense of logic keeps me on track. I work with simple, geometric forms and build my pieces by hand. Inspired by everyday life and world events, I seek to make connections with people through my work.
