Keramikk / Leire
I use geometrical forms as a starting point to explore form, while thematically responding to what is happening in the world around me. One form follows the next. I build by hand and leave the surface bare, often incorporating local sand to mediate surface tone and a connection to place. Into clay I bring a background as an art director, a Master of Design, a diploma of ceramic art and a curious mind. Originally from Trondheim, I’m based in Oslo after a 2 decade interlude in New Zealand.
